SMOK, also known as SmokTech, has one of the broadest replacement-coil catalogues in the vaping market. Artisan Vapor currently lists several smoktech coils, including RPM 2, RPM 3, LP1, and other platform-specific products. These coil families differ in resistance, wattage, draw style, and physical compatibility, so you must identify the exact series before replacing the coil.

Smoktech coils cannot accurately be described with one universal recommended wattage or liquid type. Even two coils that fit related RPM products may be designed for different draw styles and output levels.

Artisan Vapor’s current catalogue reflects this separation by listing RPM 2, RPM 3, and LP1 products individually rather than as one generic SMOK coil.

Before buying a replacement coil, users should check the full device or pod name, coil family, resistance, recommended wattage, and compatible cartridge. Do not substitute a standard RPM coil for RPM 2 or RPM 3 unless the device manufacturer explicitly supports that platform.

New cotton-based coils should also absorb e-liquid before use. Starting at the lower end of the recommended wattage range and increasing only within the manufacturer’s limits can help prevent premature wick scorching.

Overall, smoktech coils are best understood as several separate ecosystems rather than one interchangeable range, with exact compatibility being the most important factor.
