Freemax has built much of its reputation around mesh-based replacement-coil platforms used across M Pro, Fireluke, Maxus, and GALEX products. The current freemax coils catalogue includes M Pro Mesh, M Mesh, MX, TX, 904L X, FL, and GX families, each designed for particular tanks or pod systems. Because these platforms use different physical designs and resistance ranges, always confirm compatibility before replacing a coil.

The freemax mesh pro coils are among the brand’s best-known replacement heads. Freemax’s M Pro platform introduced single-, double-, triple-, quad-, and quintuple-mesh configurations. Freemax coils have also developed newer M-series and MX coils using SS904L mesh and tea-fibre cotton formulas. 

Freemax ceramic coils are also relevant to the company’s MX technology. Freemax describes a ceramic thermal-protective element within its MX Platform, designed to help manage heat around the mesh assembly. It should not be interpreted as meaning that every Freemax coil is a traditional ceramic heating coil; the brand’s current catalogue remains predominantly mesh-based.

Freemax’s GX platform sits on the lower end of the range, supporting MTL and RDL use in GALEX devices, while the M Pro, MX, and Fireluke families generally occupy higher-output categories. This makes resistance, wattage, tank compatibility, and coil generation more important than simply choosing by brand.

When replacing a Freemax coil, identify the complete tank or pod model, coil family, resistance, recommended wattage, and installation type. Newly installed cotton-based coils should also be allowed to saturate before normal use according to the relevant product instructions.
